I have neglected the blog terribly!

Facebook is such an easy way to get information out quickly....i apologize!

What's new? We have had a wonderful year, traveling all over Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida! We attended tons of shows and met great new friends! We have wrapped up our year of traveling and are preparing for 2012!

We will start the year off Jan 19-21, 2012 at Gigi'sBeach Retreat in Orange Beach Alabama. Then Crop Connection in Jackson, Ms January 26-28. Give us as shout on Facebook if we will see you there.

We are also loading product onto our online store. You will be able to purchase inks, adhesive, stickles and varied larger products. We hope to have it completed by December 1st.

Kicking off 2011 with a bang!

What a way to start off our year! Gigi's Beach Retreat was a BLAST! We met some of the most AWESOME ladies! We sold, laughed, scrapped and didn't get into too terribly much trouble (LOL)! As always, Gina and her girls were wonderful hostess'! We LOVE the hotel and the beach was gorgeous. We look forward to January every year! Thank you to all of our old and new customers for making it a huge success!

In just a few weeks we will be at Crop Celebration in Hammond, La. This is a fantastic event that benefits the Restoration Pregnancy Center. All proceeds from the crop spot fees and vendor booth fees to silent auctions go directly to Restoration Pregnancy House!

We are in the process of posting NEW kits on-line as well as offering sale prices on some winter/snow themes. Check out the on-line store for specials!

Also, be watching our online store for new "products"! We will be adding a small selection of chalk inks, un-do and stickles for purchase to help complete your kits!

2 months... REALLY??

It has been 2 months (almost to the day) since we have updated the blog! We came home exhausted from Michigan and thought we were going to take "off" until after Thanksgiving..........well how about until after New Year's! Phew, we were really tired!

But WE ARE BACK! We have kicked off the New Year with our 1st event in Jackson Mississippi! Let me say, if you have never been to Crop Connection...you HAVE got to give it a try! It is 3 of the sweetest ladies that put this on! They treat the croppers and vendors like Queens! Check them out, they will have another one in the Summer!

We no sooner get home and we will be leaving for Perdido Beach for Gigi's Scrapbooking Retreat! We LOVE this one too (we get to hang out with Gina and Lenora!!!) Not to mention our N.O. gals and MS gals! Oh and did I mention it is on the Beach too!!!!

February we will be in Hammond at Crop Celebration. It is a great crop raising money for Restoration Pregnancy Center!

March is SCRAPFEST! That is always HUGE and a wonderful time! Kerry and Megan have it down pat!!

So, all this being said.....we have some work to do! We will begin posting kits online again next week!

Home Sweet Home!

After 2,545 miles, 205 gallons of gas, a million potty stops, shopping, meeting great new friends and TONS of food...We are home! If you ever decide to drive to Michigan...it is a LONGGGGG drive, but so beautiful! Frankenmuth is our hands down favorite City!

The event was wonderful, we met some many sweet new friends! Tons of new business connections as well.
I do know you have to check out Gotta Scrap Inn and you can also follow them of FACEBOOK! I only saw the brochure and am DYING to go! The amenities are awesome and the owner and her family are incredible! Go check it out!

We have had our last show for the year....seems odd! We will start 2011 with a BANG! 2 shows back to back! First Crop Connection the Gigi's Beach Retreat (one of our fav's!). We will be evaluating our 2011 schedule in the next few weeks and will post asap!

For now, it is unpacking, re-posting kits on-line and making new kits to post EVERY day!

We also will be getting our gift certificates ready to mail to all of the Santa's in YOUR life! So for now, we hope you have a great week!

Day 2..........

Well, we survived our 1st day in Michigan at Great! Scrapbook Events! We have met some amazing women! But for the most part we have laughed until we hurt! Travelling with Shelly and Anette from Scrapbooks and More has been a hoot!!! We all make a great team!

Today should be VERY busy! Lots of new shoppers to meet. Hoping to see kits FLY off the shelves and make new friends.

We met a sweet lady named Wendy who owns the most gorgeous Scrapbook Retreat here in Michigan....go check it out; Gotta Scrap Inn. And man, she has the amenities covered! We might need to come back just to go there! You can even fly in! AND she has a valet to unpack and pack your car!!!

We made it! 1 1/2 days of driving, giggling and lots of potty stops We made it! We passed the Expo Center and can't wait to get set up tomorrow morning!

If you are near Birch Run, Michigan you MUST come to the Great Scrapbook Event...Deer Hunters widow weekend! There will be OVER 100 vendors set up selling tons of scrapbooking goodness!

Don't forget, we have pulled all of the kits from the on-line store, but we will start re-posting on Tuesday, Nov 16!

Falling down on the job.....

I just realized it has been almost 2 weeks since we updated the blog.....oops!

SDV/Orlando was a HUGE success and a BLAST! (Even if we never got to see Mickey :(...) We met some wonderful (and crazy) new friends! We sold a ton! And laughed til we hurt!

We traveled with Gina and Lenora from Gigi's Scrapbooking in Foley Ala. Well, that was just hilarious in itself! Never a dull moment!
Also, we were with Nicole Petersen and Nicole Petersen Designs! Ya see, she has this husband who we gave a really hard time (Matt)......He sets up her booth and works it until she can get there from her day job....needless to say we gave him a very hard time! He was a great sport and played along well! Also her sweet daughter came with her Sydnee....she is a love! Thanks Syd for all the diet coke runs!!!

All in all, I think we rocked the hall way pretty dang good! We sure turned lemons into lemonade!!! But it is all about good friends and good times when it comes down to it! We were Blessed with both!

Now whats next....well Scrapfest is in just a few short days.....go check them out and maybe you can come join us! We will be working non-stop the next few days to get more kits prepared! We will be traveling with Shelly and the gang from Scrapbooks and More in Denham Springs!

After Scrapfest, we have Scrappin with the Chicks here in Baton Rouge (October 8-10), that is always fun...it is a 24 hr non stop-crop event!! We usually get a good bit done at that one!

Then we have a few weeks off (not really off...just no travelling) before we head to Birch Run Michigan for the Great Scrapbook Events. It is a HUGE HUGE HUGE event.......not to mention a LONG drive! We will be travelling with Shelly and the gang from Scrapbooks and More (I think it may be video worthy....)! That trip will wrap up our 2010 event travels!

On a sad note.......
One of my dearest friends will be closing her LSS today.....Scrapbook and CO in Baton Rouge will close today after 4 years. Denise and her girls will be truly missed in our community! We will all be leaving a piece of our heart with her in that store! It was truly a home for all who hung out there. With that being said....wherever you are...PLEASE SUPPORT your Local Scrapboook Store! We have to give them our support or they will not make it! They offer products and services that the chains can not give us!
So, goodbye Scrapbook and Co. You will be missed! And Denise, remember we love you and wish you the best in whatever you pursue!

We made it!

Lisa and I left Baton Rouge at about 10 this morning....we planned on stopping and sleeping, but she got some "extra energy" and we drove straight through to Disney! So glad that we did ! We are checked in our beautiful room at the Disney Contemporary Resort, unpacked and about to get some sleep!!!!! We set up for SDV at 2 pm (so we may just get to sleep a LONG time!)!

We are so excited to get this show going and meet all the wonderful people coming to SDV Orlando! Hope to make lots of new friends! We will post pics after we set up tomorrow!

Where to begin..........

We prayed about branching out to bigger/further conventions. And did the floodgates open!

We have either.... not had enough sleep or lost our minds..but none the less...we are off to further& bigger venues!

Our first stop will next week in Orlando at Disney's Contemporary Resort for the SDV event!
We are so excited to go meet all the wonderful ladies there. We will be travelling with Gina and Lenora from Gigi's Scrapbooking...it should be a trip to remember! We will also meet our sweet friend Nicole Petersen with Nicole Petersen Designs as well!

Now here is the biggie......the further/bigger event.....the one that shows we may have lost our minds....
We are going to BIRCH RUN, MICHIGAN! To the Great Scrapbook Event. It is only 1,164 miles (appx 18 hrs) away from home! BUT all kidding aside, it is suppose to be HUGE! It is the DEER HUNTERS first weekend in the woods and the wives come out to play! They expect 1000-1500 women to shop/crop over the 3 day period!

Oh heaven, please don't let our cricuts burn up any time soon...they will be on full auto from here til January!

We will be traveling with Shelly, Anette and Alicia from Scrapbooks and More in Denham Springs. The NORTH has no idea what is about to hit them! 5 women, 1 suburban and a BIG u-haul!! Again ...we will be meeting Nicole with Nicole Petersen Designs (are you seeing a pattern here).....heee heee

And did I mention we have many events in between all of this madness.....

Shelly and the gang at Scrapbooks and More in Denham Springs will be holding "Landry's Crop" on August 28 @ St Andrews United Methodist Church on Monitor Avenue in Baton Rouge. Check out the info in this email from them;

Can you believe it’s time to send the kids Back to School? So that must mean it’s almost time for the MDA Tele-thon too. This is a very important event to us at Scrapbooks and more… as most of you know Anette’s daughter Landry has a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy. So to assist Landry with the effort to raise money for research and a cure we are having a Crop. On August 28th.

From 9a-10p at St.Andrew’s Methodist Church join us for “Landry’s Crop”. Only $30.00 gets you a spot for 11 hours of cropping and 2 meals. Lots of fun, prizes, games and help to raise money for MDA. We will have a special area for our 12 year old and up to crop as well as an Adult cropping area. So round up your friends and come beat the heat with us so we can raise money for a great cause. I want to send out a special thank you to Melanie Hyatt for her help in organizing the event. All of you will know her as one of the Kit-a-Licious girls and I am so happy to say that they will have their Kits at Landry’s Crop. We are also working on a surprise to be revealed that day! The event is August 27-29 at the Contemporary Resort in WDW!!!!

We are home from Scrappin on the River! What a wonderful time we had! We have to give a HUGE thank you to Pam Frank (and Slick) for their awesome hospitality! They made us feel right at home! Slick was such a HUGE help with all of our heavy grid-wall, sign hanging, table stealing etc needs!!!!!

I am amazed at every event of all the wonderful women we continue to meet. Scrapbooking is not only a passion (or addiction). It is on going place where new friendships are made. We laughed til we hurt, heard stories that made us cry and were touched by many!

DeAnna Dillard (one of the many new friends) completed 135 pages (that was 3 ALBUMS) and she used 14 of our kits in the process! She was on fire!!!! DeAnna is a Creative Memories consultant, CLICK HERE to look her up! She can help you with all of your CM needs!!!! Congrats DeAnna on all of your fabulous work!

We are packed up.....

We will be leaving for Scrap-n-on the River in Natchez Ms. TONIGHT!!!!!

Had a spur of the moment idea to load up and go tonight instead of super early

in the morning (don't hate me LISA!!)! It will be worth it tomorrow!!

So we have (I think) drum rolllllllllll please........

OVER 150 double page kit designs!!!

and 50++++ Single page kit designs for the croppers and shoppers to choose from!

So get those pictures developed and let us help you get them scrapped!

Well we have made 2 great new friends from the scrapbooking world in less than 24 hours.

First, Lisa had ordered products (for the classes we are teaching in Natchez) from
Keller's Creations. The owner Kim was driving through from CK In Houston back home to Georgia and offered to "drop the order off" to save on shipping. Well we jumped on that.....we met her in a Walgreens parking lot (or dark alley meeting as Heather described it). About 30 minutes later (and alot of sweating) we had shopped, made a great new friend and learned tons of info for future ordering options!!! Thanks Kim (and Keller) for your kindness!!! Look forward to seeing you soon!

Then today, I was searching the internet for Cricut Mats (ugh)!!! I think we go through them like CRAZY!!! Well, I found my next new friend at Cricut-Central. Lisa happened to answer the phone and solve ALL my cricut mat problems! She provided unbelievable customer service and saved us a TON of $$$! Go check her out and see all Cricut-Central has to offer!

I know we are! We are wrapping up the last few new kit designs! Can't wait to meet all the great ladies in Natchez and see old friends!

Also, we are finishing up 2 classes Lisa and Melanie will be teaching. Lisa is teaching the most precious Disney mini book. Get you pics ready...it is a must have! And Melanie is teaching a Splish Splash Beach mini book class! Get out your beach pics and come join us. It will be using the adorable new Imaginesce Splash Dance line!

What a wonderful time Beverly and Lisa had at The Acadiana Croppers (TAC) event! They said they met some wonderful women, had a fabulous time and sold a TON of kits! Thanks to all who attended and shopped with us. Thanks to Tabitha for a wonderful event...we can't wait for next year!!!

And now we are preparing for Scrappin on the River! It is only a month away! Are YOU attending? Pam puts on a great event, I talked to her today and she is getting it all together! This is a fun and relaxing event! Good people up in Natchez!

We received word that Southern Scrap Escape Event has been cancelled. Sorry we won't be going to Hattiesburg.........we will miss seeing some of our great customers.

We do have another event in the works though.....I should know for sure by the middle of the week!
It will be sooooo cool if we get to participate, but that is all I can say for now!!!!!

Lisa and I have been busy bees designing DISNEY kits! Get those vacation pictures ready!

It has been over a month since I have updated this blog.......What is the punishment for blog neglect?? Hope it isn't to severe! I promise though, we have been very busy bees!

We just had the Scrapping with the Chicks event and it was wonderful! We laughed, ate and even made a few kits along the way. Bev and Tara did a great job!

We have a few new plans up ours sleeves.........keep your eyes out for some BIG additions to
Kit-A-Licious. We have our secret weapon "Bob" helping us! (That's Lisa's hubby :).....

We are also working on getting pictures posted...we are having lighting problems...hope to get that all solved as well.

Did I mention we have a new addiction? It is the WorldWin Cardstock! We have had 3 shipments in ONE month! I think we need an intervention! Hope you all love it as much as we do! The colors and textures are FABULOUS! Thanks to our friend Heather Carpenter for helping us out with that!

Look out you scrappers of sports and Disney....we just placed a HUGE order for some AWESOME papers! Can't wait to get our hands on those goodies!

A BRAND SPANKIN' NEW EVENT.....

We are so thrilled to be participating in an awesome Scrapbooking event/weekend that will be held for the FIRST time in November! My incredibly talented friends (Anna Bess Hillman and Melissa Lemoine) are hosting This Little Birdie Crop in Hattiesburg November 5-6! We are so excited to be a vendor! If you haven't met these 2 well lookout....not only are they amazingly talented they are hilarious, fun and wonderful people!

So, what are we up to right now....well Our next event is Scrappin with the chicks and it is April 30- May 2! I know we are all busy making kits.....hhhmmm, what are me creating? I will have to get some scoop from Bev and Lisa..not to sure what they are creating! But I do know it is some goodness!

At Crop Celebration. I have to say a HUGE Thank You to Regina and Jeri. They did a wonderful job on this event! I am so happy we were able to be a part of it and able to help the Restoration House as well. These girls worked so hard and it showed!

We met some wonderful new friends and were able to visit with old friends too! It was such a nice relaxing weekend, and we all needed it!

Our booth site was PERFECT! We were able to crop and watch the booth! NICE!!!!

Ms Reva and her crew! We always have fun when her and Kaya (sp) are there!!

This is me (Mel) with Kay Saraceno...we just LOVE this lady! She kept Lisa and I BUSY all weekend! Thanks Ms. Kay we LOVE you!!!

Bev taught a class and it was a hit! She is showing off some of her goodies here!

We are waiting on some more pictures from our other new friend..."Roll Tide" Marie....But I am not promising how many I can share. Some of them may not be very pretty!!!!!

All in all we had a wonderful time. It was so nice for all four of us to get to crop together and giggle ALOT!

We are truly 4 Blessed ladies!

Crop Celebration...
It is only 3 days until we got to Hammond, Louisiana for Crop Celebration! We are so excited to meet all the wonderful ladies over there! I know we have been working like busy bees creating and designing new kits for them. A little birdie told us they love cruising..so we have kits JUST for that!!

I think we will have Mardi Gras and Saints covered too for those good ol' Louisiana girls!

It has been a wee bit hard staying inside and working due to our BEAUTIFUL weather....you all know it is hard to get a South Louisiana day with mild temps and sun! We must enjoy while we can!

Kit-A-Licious will be a vendor at the Southern Scrap Escape in Hattiesburg June 25-26. Go check this link out...Lisa Bearnson will be a guest speaker! Also they have some cool vendors! I know our friend Elizabeth with Simply Scrappin is there and I hear PRIMA will be there as well! (There goes all my extra money...)

We also received our contract for Scrapfest for September 16-18th and I am soooooo excited, we have our SAME location as last event! So...get your spots reserved by us! We have a ROCKIN' corner!!!

We all are gearing up for Crop Celebration next week. We will be their March 19-20! It is a wonderful event! Yo can also come shop for the day for only $5.00! Come see us!

We just found out we will be attending Southern Scrap Escape in Hattiesburg, MS June 25 & 26th!
Go check it out! There is a treat at this event too...Lisa Bearnson will be teaching and speaking! I can't wait!

We have also added Scrapfest in September (16-18), Scrapping with the Chicks October (8-10) and POSSIBLY another one in November TBA!!!!!

So I am excited to say Kit-A-Licious is BOOKED UP for 2010!!! Who would have imagined...It all started by saying we wanted to "try" one event...and here we are , less than a year later..BOOKED!!! We are truly Blessed! Our families have been so supportive and our customers and friends so very faithful!!!

Wow, we are so Blessed.....

All I can say is we are so Blessed....Scrapfest is over and it was a bigger success than any of us ever dreamed. Thank You Thank Yo Thank You to Keri and Meghan for an amazing , well put together event!! I think the one thing that amazed me is the wonderful women who came to Scrapfest just to shop with us!!! Beverly and Lisa met some wonderfully crazy gals while at GiGi's Scrapbooking Retreat in Foley Alabama in January.....well they weren't able to go to Scrapfest, BUT.......they drove to SHOP WITH US!!! I am amazed and in shock! THANKS GIRLIES..you know who you are!!!

We met and became friends with some INCREDIBLY amazing ladies! I think my FB grew by 10 just from meeting women who came to the booth!

When we started this venture, it was a small discussion about doing 1 event a year...and less than a year later we are booked up for almost the entire year!

Several ladies have asked us about an "ONLINE STORE", at this time we are not venturing off into that...BUT, PLEASE e-mail us about themes and such...we will be more than happy to e-mail you pictures of available kits and ship to you! All of our e-mails are listed to the side. ALSO, you can e-mail to me machyatt@cox.net and I can forward it out to everyone as well.

Now on to our next event.......We will be in Hammond at CROP CELEBRATION (www.cropcelebration.com) Friday March 19th 9am-1am and Saturday March 20 9am-10pm. The cost is $50.00 for the weekend or $25.00 for the day! ALSO......you can purchase a $5.00 shopping pass if you can't stay to crop! ALL money is Donated to Restoration Pregnancy Center. Yesterday Lisa and I worked (and giggled) all day making kits....She made the most precious beach/sea layout with the sweetest OCTOPUS......I think I may have to get me one of those!!

We both did pages for the little SUPERMAN in your lives...and you can choose from a single or double!

What about all the pics of your boys and their dads...any SUPERDADS out there? Well we have a double page layout for you!!! Oh and be sure and take pics of you and your girlfriends while at SCRAPFEST...Bev has a precious single page waiting for you!! Teri has little boy play time ready for you as well!! Closer and closer.....

It's getting closer and closer to SCRAPFEST and we are SoOoOoO excited!!!!

I completed 2 new designs today....Minnie Mouse's House ( picture Minnie with the most precious pink tulle hair bow) and a LO for your cutie pie in her Ballet costume!!!

Tomorrow I see Mickey, Valentine's and Family Tree's in my future!!!

I know Teri has been designing some awesome girlie girl, colorful kids LO and travel as well. Bev and Lisa are keeping quiet......can only imagine the beautifull-ness they are creating!!!!

Our racks are going to be POPPING full of choices for all the Scrapfest gals! AND... a little birdie told me that we will be having a special......BUY 5 and get a SINGLE page LO for FREE.........yes FREE!!!!!

OHHHHHH, I almost forgot.......I have a sweet friend Nicole Petersen will be teaching the MOST GORGEOUS vintage class while we are at SCRAPFEST.....go check her out at

3 of the 4 KIT-A-LICIOUS girls went away for the weekend (with 7 other crazy crazy women) and we were some kit making maniacs!!! (We missed you Teri)..... :(

A group of us rented the Arbor Oaks Retreat from Thursday-Sunday....it was amazing, fun, silly, restful and FATTENING!!! I think we ate a weeks worth of calories EVERYDAY!!!

BUT~~~~in between all of that..... Beverly, Lisa and I were going kit making crazy~~~!

I think we made OVER 35-40 NEW DESIGNS!!! I remember seeing;

and soooo many more I can't even recall!

We are so ExCiTed for SCRAPFEST !!!!

I had a few sneak peeks of Lisa's newest Designs for SCRAPFEST!!!

Oh my goodness...If you have boys that play sports you will want to scoop up her kits! She has created some WONDERFUL and VERSATILE boy sport single and double page kits!!
Then I saw the most precious Valentine layout that is like a puzzle! How cute will that be for your valentine pictures (wow...that is just 2 weeks away)!!! How cool to get the layout and have it ready to go BEFORE you take pictures!!!!

Teri has some precious vaction/camping layouts!! (I think I may have to have one too!) And Teri has just what you need for your zoo/Animal Kingdom layouts!

I designed "Welcome Home" Kits for a baby boy and baby girl (gender specific)!! These will be precious to put your babies pictures on as they come home for the first time! I also have a few "SAINT" goodies up my sleeve!

I know Beverly has been working like wild woman but I haven't gotten to get any peaks of what she is doing...I will have to snoop some more!! I did see something with some Sassafrass that was ADORABLE!!!

And new paper.......Oh what can I say....Lisa and I went shopping Friday and we found some FABULOUS new lines to create with!!!

We have purchased several (ok tons) of new Cricut Cartridges that we will be decorating our kits with as well!!! Have you seen SONGBIRD or Forever YOUNG??? Well, all I can say is CUTE!!!

That will be all for now! We are begin the fast and furious countdown for the HUGE SCRAPFEST event!

GiGi's was a HIT!

Beverly and Lisa are whooped...but the event was a HUGE success! They said our kits were flying off the racks!! Thanks to GiGi and her girls for another wonderful event!
Now...boy do we have some work to do!!! Scrapfest is only a few short weeks away!! I wish we could find away to design-create-package in our sleep!!!! Oh well, until then we will just be busy women!

WOW, what a wonderful event this was!

We want to thank Susan Sandifer and all the lovely women that put together this awesome event! From the creativity in the room, many laughs and to the food.... it was a hit! They truly out did themselves! And the kits flew off the racks!!!

We sure will be busy creating BRAND NEW designs for Gigi's and Scrapfest!!
